The Dean Snell Cancer Foundation elves were busy this year supplying gifts to 6 patients and their families. Gifts were wrapped and delivered to New England Cancer Specialists in Topsham just days before Christmas. Wish list requests from the families included anything from grocery cards to everyday goods, clothing, winter coats and toys, and arts and crafts for the youngsters.
The holiday season of 2009 was the first year that DSCF introduced the Adopt-A-Family. That year the elves only provided for 1 family. There has been a great increase in need over the years and the elves were excited to be able to provide for 6 families this year.
